When you’re looking at something to buy for your house or the house itself, just make sure that you are trusting your gut and your instinct about what you truly love because you know there are some things you can change and renovate or buy, but there’s a lot of things that you can’t and […]
"The most important work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home."
OK, I’ll admit it. I have a soft spot for senior citizens. I love their perspective, their wisdom, and their stories. All of my own grandparents have passed on now, but man, did I love spending time with them! So any chance I get to work with those more seasoned than I, I relish it. […]
I didn’t know how I was going to do it. Real estate that is. Well, and maybe life too. I was so broken. Broken from my divorce, and broken from everything that had happened from the moment I didn’t know where my husband was and why the bank accounts were empty, up until that point. [It’s […]
A Bit About Me...
Born and raised in Harrogate, England, I emigrated to America alone when I was 18 years old because I believe that the American dream is real, even for an English girl from a pretty little Victorian town that wins flower festivals, and is known for tea shops. It is important to note that my mother is incredibly accepting, nay, supportive of my adventurous nature, something which is to be commended.
Since those early days of not knowing how to cross an American street, or turn on certain faucets, I got married, graduated college at the top of my class, had three babies, and created a home.
After the marriage ended, I became the provider for my family. It’s not been easy. But I got my real estate license, and began selling homes in Colorado Springs. Real estate wasn’t what I initially thought though. It wasn’t just pricing listings, negotiating contracts, and showing houses. Real estate is helping people transition their home life, and make investments for both their financial and personal goals, and sometimes that’s a happy thing, but sometimes it’s not, and sometimes… it’s all of the above.
I believe passionately that you deserve a home life that you love. I believe it’s worth fighting for with everything you’ve got. I believe in leaning in,showing up, and not making excuses because of where you’re from or what you’ve been through. I believe that happiness and gratitude are both daily, and sometimes hourly, choices. Like you, I struggle, I make mistakes, I worry about my family. If you were looking for someone with all the answers, I’m not your girl, but if you were looking for someone to share the journey with, then welcome. I’m glad you’re here!
